TikTok and Social Movements

The TikTok Cultures Research Network is pleased to announce its fourth event TikTok and Social Movements that will be held virtually on 20 September 2021 organised by founding members Dr Jin Lee, Associate Professor Crystal Abidin, and Dr D. Bondy Valdovinos Kaye.

The event will be a half-day online Symposium (on Zoom) to showcase emergent research on the potentials, promises, pitfalls, and parameters of such social movements on TikTok. The event will feature a keynote delivered by Dr Ariadna Matamoros-Fernández (Queensland University of Technology)

This event is free but registration is required.
